The 2026 Functional Training For Government Translation Closing Ceremony At The Studio Room
The
Centre for Government Translator and Interpreter Development (Pusbinter) of the
Ministry of State Secretariat officially concluded the 2026 Batch V Functional
Training for Government Translators on Thursday, 12 February 2026.
Conducted
online via Zoom over eight days from 3 to 12 February 2026, the training formed
part of Pusbinter’s ongoing commitment to strengthening competency development
for Government Translators. The program also serves as a strategic initiative
to enhance professionalism and reinforce the institutional capacity of civil
servants in carrying out their duties.
The
closing ceremony was led by the Head of Capacity Development and Certification,
Ibu Indriawaty. In her closing remarks, she expressed her sincere appreciation
to the organizing committee and all supporting teams for their dedication in
ensuring the successful implementation of the program. She also commended the
participants for completing the training with discipline and strong commitment.
“This
training is designed to strengthen technical competencies and enhance the
overall quality of Government Translators in performing their
responsibilities,” she stated.
She
further emphasized that capacity development is a continuous process that
requires sustained effort and a strong willingness to learn. “We hope that all
participants will continue to uphold professionalism, integrity, and quality in
producing accurate and reliable translation outputs,” she added.
The
training was attended by 25 participants and covered a range of subjects,
including management skills, advanced Bahasa Indonesia proficiency, translation
theory and practice, as well as an introduction to Computer-Assisted
Translation (CAT) tools. The program concluded with a post-test to assess
participants’ understanding and learning outcomes.
With
the completion of this training, participants are expected to professionally
and sustainably apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired within their
respective work units. Pusbinter also encourages all graduates to consistently
uphold high standards of professionalism in their daily professional activities. (PUSBINTER)
