Jakarta, 30 June 2026 – The 2026 Technical Training Program for Junior Translators, which had been conducted online over the course of approximately ten days, officially concluded on Tuesday June 30^th. The closing ceremony was officiated by Indriawaty, Head of the Competency Development and Certification Division, representing Sri Wahyu Utami, Head of the Center for Translator Development.

In her closing remarks, she expressed gratitude for the successful implementation of the training program as part of the Center’s efforts to address the competency development needs of Functional Translator Officials. The program is expected to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to carry out translation assignments at their respective institutions while supporting the implementation of government programs.

Throughout the training, participants gained knowledge of translation theory and practice, editing techniques, as well as the translation of government, audiovisual, and journalistic texts. The program was designed to enable participants to produce high-quality translations in accordance with the competency standards for the Functional Translator Position.

The closing remarks also emphasized that learning does not end with the completion of the training program. Participants were encouraged to continue refining their translation skills, broadening their knowledge, and enhancing the quality of their work through continuous practice and professional development.

Appreciation was also extended to the instructors from the Language Center of the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (LBI FIB UI) for sharing their expertise and practical experience throughout the program, as well as to all parties whose support contributed to the successful and smooth implementation of the training.

The remarks concluded with congratulations to all participants on successfully completing the program, along with an apology for any shortcomings that may have occurred during its implementation.  (PUSBINTER) (HYP)
